RADIOIMMUNOASSAY OF PROLACTIN IN THE URINE OF MOUSE AND MAN

Abstract
There are detectable amounts of prolactin (PRL) in unextracted urine. The urinary excretion of PRL appears to be greater in men than in women, greater in C3H/St mice than in C57BL/St. It is suggested that in certain situations measuring the hormone in urine may provide useful information.
