Abstract
Belt (late Proterozoic?) strata were deposited in salt waters which shifted in depth and sedimentation. In ecology and form, the masses described as of algal origin by Walcott support his opinion, but Beltina danai seems to have been a brown alga, not an arthropod. "Species" described are Collenia columnaris* (p. 682) ; C. symmetrica* (p. 683) ; C. undosa* Walcott (p. 684) ; C. compacta* Wal. (p. 684); C(?) frequens* Wal. (p. 685); Newlandia sarcinula* (p. 685) ; Weedia tuberosa Wal. (p. 685) ; Beltina danai? Wa?. (p. 686). Types in Univ. of Cincinnati Mus.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
