Abstract
Summary: Mice injected intravenously with BSA and rabbit anti-BSA serum in antigen excess show an accelerated immune response to the antigen. This immune response is related to the ratio of BSA to anti-BSA used in the initial injection. The optimal combination of BSA and anti-BSA is in slight antigen excess. Anaphylactic sensitization parallels the accelerated immune response in time of onset. This response to BSA is not related to bacterial contamination. Keywords
