Abstract
An epizootic of unknown etiology was observed in guinea pigs. The disease was highly fatal, and after detailed study it was discovered that the etiological agent could not be passed experimentally to guinea pigs, white mice or embryonated eggs. The symptoms and pathology were unlike any previously described disease of guinea pigs. Keywords
