Eye Background Findings in Premature and Hypotrophic Newborns

Abstract
One hundred and twenty eight premature and 58 hypotrophic infants weighing 1000-2000 g were examined. In the later group signs of immaturity of the eye background were much less frequent indicating that maturation of the retina mainly depends on the time of gestation.
