Abstract
More Americans in Southeast Asia seek medical aid for diarrhea than for trauma. Intestinal parasites are endemic to this part of the world and hookworm is prevalent. Amebiasis has not been frequent among Vietnam returnees. Tropical sprue has been uncommon. Malaria with gastrointestinal manifestations is a serious problem in this region. Keywords
