Abstract
A family with 13 members affected by peripheral neuropathy manifesting as episodes of paralysies usually provoked by minor compression of nerve trunks is described. Nerve and muscle biopsies in 2 patients demonstrated many thickenings of the myelin sheath (tomacula). EM served as a basis for discussing the origin and place of this affection among other hereditary neuropathies. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
