Abstract
A fast, simple, and accurate method is presented for the determination of volume, thickness, and density of leaves and the volume of internal air spaces of leaves and other plant organs. The method is based on the application of Archimedes’ principle and involves the determination of the buoyant force acting on plant organs submerged in water. Keywords
