Abstract
The hemolysin of Pseudomonas aeruginosa was found to function as a detergent in solubilizing various phosphatides. Incorporation of the hemolysin into reaction mixtures containing phosphatides and phospholipase c significantly increased the rates of enzyme activities. Stimulation of enzyme activity was most likely due to improved dispersion of the substrates. Keywords
