Abstract
To the Editor. The concluding comments of Dr. William L. Strickler in discussing a case of renal carcinoma (Case 67–1963) in the October 24, 1963, issue of the Journal provide a completely erroneous answer to Dr. DeSanctis's question pertaining to the value of renal angiographic studies in differentiating renal cysts from malignant lesions. The basis for his reply apparently stems from a recent article by Uson et al., which is quoted as a reference. This article, published in 1963, draws its conclusions from 70 translumbar aortograms taken during the years 1951–1954. Are we really to ignore the advances in medicine . . .
