Abstract
A survey of journalists and newspaper librarians on the impact and use of commercial databases in reporting the news indicates that reporters, editors and librarians alike see databases as a growing positive tool in newspaper coverage. Few fears are expressed about possible deleterious effects of computerized information sources.Keywords
