Abstract
Tyrosine and methionine were present in spore hydrolyzates but absent in vegetative cell hydrolyzates. Hydroxyproline was present in the medium hydrolyzate but not in that of the spore and vegetative cells. Phenylalanine, threonine and histidine were detected in the spores and vegetative cells but not in the medium. No qualitative difference was found between spores of unequal heat resistance. Keywords
