Abstract
Evidence was presented for the existence of an intracellular pool of low MW Fe compounds which acted as an intermediate between extracellular Fe and a wide variety of intracellular processes. It was in equilibrium with storage Fe and Fe enzymes and is of major importance in Fe toxicity and chelation therapy. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
