Abstract
The clinical and necropsy findings of a case of rupture of the right ventricle following acute myocarditis are presented. The significance of the diagnosis before necropsy is discussed in relation to the differential diagnosis of the cause of ventricular rupture. Review of the published reports indicates that this is the 1st case of right ventricular rupture due to myocarditis of suspected viral etiology. This publication has 7 references indexed in Scilit:
