Abstract
The arrival of the North -European High Speed Train will mean forthe Hainault, being in a railway cul-de-sac, the end of international relations andthe disappearance of some agricultural land. All the same Hainault is in favour of the High Speed Tra n on the condition that it can participate in general discussion into the rail network and into harmonising relations between the French-Belgium frontier regions, within the larger European context.
