Abstract
The occurrence of blisters on the skin of infants with certain disorders which are not usually associated with bullae in older persons is a well-recognized, but poorly understood phenomenon. In the present investigation the morphology of the epidermal-dermal basement membrane and its immediate environs, where many of these bullae arise, was examined in various age groups in a search for clues which might conceivably aid in explaining this blister-prone tendency of young skin. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
