Abstract
We have studied both analytically and numerically the phase transitions of a quasiperiodic array of Josephson junctions in transverse magnetic fields. The lattice we consider has Fibonacci quasiperiodicity in one direction and is periodic in the other. Monte Carlo simulation as well as analytical arguments suggest that the phase transition is of the Kosterlitz-Thouless type at certain special magnetic fields. The ground-state configuration is found to be ferromagnetically ordered at these fields, which corresponds to especially weak frustration. Keywords
