Abstract
The development of a renal tubular phosphate leak and an acidosis is described in twins who were reported in 1955 to leak glucose and amino acids only. The possible etiology of these fresh tubular disturbances is discussed. The consequent rickets in one twin has healed under treatment with large doses of vitamin D, while oral phosphate solution was ineffective. The dominant mode of inheritance of this condition is most unusual. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
