Abstract
“Well, all drug fiends regardless of what the thing is, they shoot drugs because they're not what they want to be and when they shoot drugs, they are what they want to be, see? It solves all their problems. But this doesn't necessarily hold true with this LSD. You're not what you want to be, you see yourself for what you really are, and it's funny.… You know, like you've been trying so hard to be something and you never want to admit to yourself you're not and then all of a sudden you're behind this drug and you see yourself just for what you are. It hurts.” (From an interview with a narcotic addict.)Keywords
