Posttraumatic Sympathetic Dystrophy

Abstract
Causalgia-like syndrome may masquerade as a primary vascular disorder. A patient with no definite trauma presented with a painful, throbbing, vasodilated foot. There was a marked dissociation between the pain and the vasomotor disturbance. Complete recovery was achieved by sympathetic blockade and aggressive physiotherapy.
