Abstract
A single dose of pargyline severely depleted hepatic reduced glutathione (GSH) levels in the rat. Ethanol administration, acute or chronic, had no effect on hepatic GSH levels; nor did it exacerbate pargyline mediated GSH depletion. A single dose of ethanol given 1 h after pargyline administration enhanced the recovery rate of hepatic GSH.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
