Giant Multipole Resonances inObserved by Inelastic Electron Scattering

Abstract
Inelastic electron scattering from the giant dipole resonance region in was measured. In addition to the usual dipole resonance we have found new resonances at 14.0 MeV and around 28 MeV. The spins and parities and transition strengths of these states are discussed.
