Abstract
The N and S excretion of 5 patients exhibiting the nephrosis syndrome was studied while these patients were on a. diet constant as to N, S, P, calories and water. As in other studies a large retention of N occurred. The retention of S was greater than that of N regardless of the level of dietary N. The N: S ratio in the urine was high. The N: S ratio of the "retained protein" was low. Keywords
