Abstract
The case report of a patient with poor kidney function who developed severe hemorrhages following a single dose of 300 mg. of dicumarol. The pro-thrombin time was prolonged to more than 2.5 min. at the time of bleeding. Treatment with vit. K1 oxide reversed the dicumarol effect and hemorrhages ceased. This is believed to be the first report of bleeding following one dose of dicumarol in a human being. Keywords
