Abstract
To the Editor: In the Current Concepts in Therapy, "Complications from Psychotherapeutic Drugs. I.," which appeared in the February 9 issue of the Journal, reference was made to the treatment tretment of extpyramidal symptoms secondary to the administration of prochlorperazine. Only anti-Parkinsonian drugs, caffeine and barbiturates were mentioned.Last year I reported, in a paper, "Neuromuscular Reactions: Secondary to the Administration of Prochlorperazine: Some Notes on Diagnosis and Management" in the American Practitioner and Digest of Treatment (11:962, 1960), 2 acute cases and referred to 7 others treated with meperidine hydrochloride intramuscularly, with amazingly fast and complete relief of . . .
