Abstract
Results of Hartree-Fock and multiconfiguration Hartree-Fock calculations using only two configurations (degenerate in zero order within the context of the nuclear-charge-expansion perturbation method) for doubly excited states of lithium isoelectronic sequence are used to propose an orbital configuration classification of these states, extending the similar classification by Holoien and Geltman for states of lithium only.
