Abstract
Clot retraction was determined in 12 individuals (8 males and 4 females) with a bleeding disorder, transmitted in an autosomal dominant manner, who had reduced factor VIII procoagulant activity (1-stage assay), reduced factor VIII antigen, a prolonged bleeding time (Ivy template method) and reduced ristocetin-induced platelet aggregation. Clot retraction was determined by the quantitative method of Mink. There was no difference in clot retraction between normals and subjects with von Willebrand''s disease (P > 0.2).This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
