Human Blood Types and Dental Caries Experience

Abstract
Blood typing was done on a group of 768 young adults in Detroit and Philadelphia for the ABO, MN and Rh groups. Comparisons of blood type with caries history were done in each group and the groups compared. Certain blood type-caries history associations were seen in each group, but the associations were not identical in each group. The differences between the groups may be due to socioeconomic and racial differences.
