Abstract
Various tricyclic diterpenoid derivatives of totarol [Thujopsis dolabrata], abietane and pimarene [Cryptomeria japonica] groups apparently had serum cholesterol lowering action in rats. Inhibition of intestinal cholesterol absorption was apparently involved in the main mechanism of hypocholesterolemic action of totarol and abietic acid.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
