Comparison of the effects of frontal and caudate lesions on delayed response and alternation in monkeys.

Abstract
The responses of monkeys with lesions of the frontal cortex and monkeys with lesions of the caudate nucleus were impaired (compared to unoperated controls) on alternation and delayed response tests presented in the Wisconsin General Test Apparatus, the deficit of the frontal monkeys being greater.
