Abstract
The corneal topography is usually described as an ellipse. Measurement or calculations of the sagittal depth of model corneal topographies at various chord diameters allowed a matching of the sagittal depth of spherical radii contact lenses. The relation between base curve and average central corneal radius is calculated. Keywords
