Abstract
Surveys conducted in mid-March, April, and May 1974–1976 and 1974–1975 in DeSoto and Sabine Parishes, respectively, in northwestern Louisiana showed a dramatic reduction in populations of the lone star tick, Amblyomma americanum (L.), attracted to dry ice when the areas were invaded by the imported fire ant, Solenopsis invicta (Buren).This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
