Abstract
Summary.: A method is given for the quantitative estimation of phosphatidyl ethanolamine in nerve tissue by the content of ethanolamine. An alcoholic extract of the tissue is hydrolyzed, ethanolamine is distilled off and estimated colorimetrically by the Berthelot reaction. The method is applied to 0.4–1.5 mg quantities of phosphatidyl ethanolamine. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
