Abstract
The authors have performed Doppler-free two-photon spectroscopy to measure the wavelength of the 23S to n3S (n=4-6) and 23S to n3D (n=3-6) transitions in helium. The accuracy of their determinations permits them to do an interesting comparison with theory and to show very small Lamb shifts in the excited levels. Keywords
