Abstract
Deterioration of Schiff''s (Feulgen''s) reagent was studied under varying conditions. Photometric readings were taken of both induced and spontaneous color development and curves which showed the rate of deterioration were plotted. It was concluded that Schiff''s reagent, when kept in well-filled and tightly corked bottles at 0[degree] -5[degree]C, will retain staining efficiency for at least 6 mos. Keywords
