SAFE AND SIMPLE TECHNIQUE FOR OBTAINING CEREBROSPINAL-FLUID FROM RABBITS

Abstract

A safe and simple method for obtaining CSF from the anesthetized rabbit was accomplished by cannulating the 4th ventricle. CSF (1.5-2.0 ml) was obtained for laboratory analysis. The procedure could be repeated at 2-3 day intervals without detrimental effects.
