IMPAIRED VIBRATORY SENSE IN DIABETES MELLITUS WITH PROTEINURIA

Abstract
Impaired transmission of vibratory sense impulse if a fairly consistent finding in most patients suffering with diabetes mellitus. Diabetics who have proteinuria have a much more advanced impairment in vibratory sense than diabetics free from proteinuria. This impairment is not related to the age of the patient, the duration or severity or degree of control of the diabetes.
