Abstract
Egg output can be maintained at a low level, particularly with lucanthone hydrochloride. Such a regime, without the single TWSb [antimony dimercaptosuccinate] injection, can be safely administered by junior medical department staff or school teachers. The distribution of lucanthone hydrochloride to children annually, before the transmission season, might result in a reduction in the cercarial infection rate in snails. Children are probably the major source of contamination of water. This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
