Abstract
In strained and dysphonic voices the favorable conditions of proper tone placement are lacking. The general method of producing the optimal resonance pitch relies mostly on hearing assessment, both of the therapist and the patient. Tactile appreciation of the maximal vibrations can be used by everybody, and at any age, and the proper optimal pitch is reached with an astonishing precision. In a given individual the most resonating voice has always the same pitch, and even half a tone of difference is immediately noticed.
