Abstract
A previous calculation of the scattering amplitude for the scattering of spin waves by magnetic defects in a simple cubic lattice is simplified and extended to body-centered and face-centered cubic lattices. Expressions are given for the mean free path, and the thermal resistivity due to defect scattering is calculated by a method which takes some account of spin-wave interactions. Keywords
