Abstract
Results from tinnitus evaluations and follow-up questionnaires were used in an effort to assess the efficacy of tinnitus masking units as a means of providing active and/or passive relief for patients experiencing problematical tinnitus. Nine of 34 patients (26%) who were felt to be candidates for masking units reported that they were receiving some form of relief from their tinnitus.Keywords
