Abstract
Nine unselected patients suffering from neurofibromatosis were subjected to detailed autopsy studies. An unusually high incidence of cerebral tumors, many clinically latent, was found. Vascular lesions were found in 3 patients, a feature not previously emphasized in this disease. The incidence and nature of the cranial lesions and their pathology, clinical significance, and possible embryological implications are discussed. This publication has 6 references indexed in Scilit:
