Abstract
Two weeks after plunge dipping in 0.0125 per cent lindane* Lindane is tbe accepted common name for the gamma isomer of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 Hexachlorocyclohexane (BHC) of not less than 99 per cent purity. View all notes emulsion the average level of lindane in the fat of shorn sheep was 2.5 p.p.m. (range 1.2–3.9) and in unshorn sheep 5.0 p.p.m. (range 4.0–6.6). Residues of lindane in fat were negligible 8 weeks after dipping shorn sheep and 12 weeks alter dipping unshorn sheep. Keywords
