Abstract
Characteristics of the abused child may be of importance in the etiology of child abuse. A number of conditions may place infants at risk of child abuse, including prematurity and congenital malformations. Whether children with chronic physical and mental health problems are overrepresented among victims of child abuse and neglect was assessed. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
