Abstract
Ments that may provide insight into how information from the eyes is actually used. Then we report the results of three experiments designed to answer several questions about the role of eye movements and visual information in the control of limb movements. The answers to these questions have a number of important implications. In particular, they may lead to a better understanding of the mechanisms that mediate aimed limb movements—a type of behavior that most people produce many times each day. The answers may also help to increase our understanding of the relation between the per- ceptual and motor systems, which serve as the primary inter- face between people and their environment. Keywords
