Abstract
This paper presents a simple method for analyzing the effect of a nonlinearity sandwiched between band-pass filters, applying it to the case of weak signals when both filters pass the same band of frequencies, and obtaining completely general expressions for the output signal and noise when the output filter passes a harmonic of the input band. Keywords
