Abstract
Paper electropherograms of parotid saliva from male adults were studied. The patterns were more complex than those obtained from serum with the same methods. There was pattern individuality for each sample. By analytical comparison, several components common to different individuals were recognized. Qualitative differences and variations in the concentration of these components determined the characteristic pattern formation for an individual saliva. This information obtained from the mobility, position, shape and stain criteria of detectable zones defines some of the nondialyzable electrophoretic entities in parotid saliva. Keywords
