Abstract
This paper presents a complete and consistent set of equations suitable for digital computer calculation of generating capacity reliability indices. Each set of equations is accompanied by a brief and relatively simple numerical example to illustrate the proposed procedure. The algorithms detailed commence with the equations for building capacity models required in the Loss of Load Expectation technique using two state and multi-state generating unit representations. These algorithms are then extended to the equations required in the Frequency and Duration method.Keywords
