Color-singlet jets and large rapidity gaps ine+e−annihilation

The concept of color-singlet (subsystems of) jets is introduced and partially developed under the pretense of calculating the cross section for $e^{+}{e}^{-}$ annihilation into final states containing a large rapidity gap. The cross section for such events turns out to be small.
