Abstract
This paper describes a new steady-state equivalent of a power system for use in real-time operation. The equivalent is the result of applying Dimo's REI method for the reduction of the electrical network and also for the provision of a means for on-line calibration. Although this new equivalent is intended for application in system operation, it would also be useful in planning studies. Keywords
